Hillary Chu – CO-PRESIDENT

Christian Brothers High School, 2022

Hillary has participated in cybersecurity competitions for four years and robotics for seven years. She is meticulous and detail oriented. Hillary developed the Ubuntu study guide for the team and is our go to person for anything related to Linux operating systems. She also taught herself the art of 3D design. Almost all of our robotics’ 3D printed parts are designed by her. Other than studying, Hillary loves sports. She has podiumed numerous times in Alpine downhill ski racing, won the overall league champion title in the Lake Tahoe League, and her volleyball school team finished first in several district championships. Hillary trains five days per week with her volleyball team. Currently Hillary plays the libero position for the Christian Brothers High School’s JV volleyball team.

Norah Zhou – Co-President

Christian Brothers High School, 2023

​Norah has competed in robotics for five years. She excels in math and loves to read. Norah displays a solid understanding of budgeting and accounting principles. She is in charge of financial planning, record-keeping, and financial reporting. Beyond academics, Norah enjoys playing tennis competitively. She is a member of the St. Francis High School’s varsity tennis team.

Lucas Zhou – Publicity Officer

Kennedy High School, 2022

​Lucas is special, an excellent writer, and a blogger. He is responsible for communications with a wide range of stakeholders, including media, bloggers, the community, and the public. Lucas is a rising sophomore.  

CHAD Breslin

Christian Brothers High School, 2022

Chad is part of the second generation of Fuse Breakers. He is a quick learner and proficient in Windows security. Beyond school work, Chad is an avid participant in competitive rowing. His crew team consistently finishes in the top three of the region. Chad has been identified by USRowing to participate in the prestigious Olympic Development Program in Saratoga, Florida, where he has podiumed in three out of four events.

HArrison Chu 

Christian Brothers High School, 2021

Harrison is our fearless leader. He is usually the first one in and last one out, setting up meetings before and cleaning up after. Harrison focuses on Windows security and is our resident expert for Cisco Network. He has participated in robotics competitions for seven years with the team. Harrison is passionate about teaching. He has mentored three FLL , one MATE, and one Boy Scout robotics teams. Harrison enjoys building and assembling anything from mechanical to electronic parts. Harrison’s ability to pilot the ROV under duress has propelled his team to win numerous awards at robotics tournaments. Harrison is currently a junior at Christian Brothers High School and has received the Highest Academic Excellence award for achieving highest GPA in the school.

Carter Schmidt

Christian Brothers High School, 2021

Carter has been with the club since its inception. He is our “mad scientist” and always thinking outside the box. Carter displays a strong affinity in software engineering and taught himself C++. Carter’s programming proficiency allows the club to advance to an all-digital control platform from analog. During his down time, Carter focuses his resources on obtaining the prestigious Eagle Scout achievement.
